Being given the whole picture

In a 2019 survey*, 45% of Britons said they do not feel financially secure and and thought basic lessons on finance should be integrated into the curriculum. Existing research shows that a staggering 88% of 18-24 year olds could not identify what a pension is. Nearly half wished they’d learnt about it at school.

LAA has a clear and simple mission: to ensure basic financial education is provided to students. Whether it’s helping people understand the risks of pay day loans, credit cards and complex and hidden fees, or outlining pension schemes and the possibilities of what to do with their money

Our expert tutors, coaches and mentors are professionals within financial industries: from accountancy graduates to Chief Financial Officers. We are proud to distribute their experience to those who need it most.
